A week off work - what shall we do?
So, Rob and I have the week off work and had made no plans. We spent Monday and Tuesday doing some bits around the house and decided that on Wednesday we were going to go out. We booked the dog walker so we wouldn't have to be back too quickly and then thought about what to do..... We were going to go to Thorpe Park but came to the conclusion that it would probably be super busy. I then thought about London (maybe the London Eye) but figured parking would be a hassle - we could drive part of the way and then take a train....but expensive...! Finally, after a search on the internet we decided to go to Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth. We could do some shopping and take a trip up the Spinnaker Tower. We had a nice easy drive to Portsmouth and parked in the Gunwharf parking - expensive but Rob was very impressed with the little lights which indicate whether a space is occupied or not!
